ToF depth calculation is not affected by the grayscale and features of the object surface, and can be very accurate for three-dimensional detection; while the binocular stereo camera requires the target to have good feature changes, otherwise the depth calculation will not be possible.
The depth calculation accuracy of the ToF camera does not change with the distance, and can basically be stable at the cm level. This is very meaningful for some large-scale motion applications. These advantages make it easier to promote in the industry.
